Job Description :
As a Part-Time Dockworker, the responsibilities include:
- Using safe lifting techniques, efficiently sorting, handling, loading and unloading freight into/from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and/or straight trucks.
- Using pallet jacks and forklifts in the loading and unloading of freight including shipments of freight.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Accurately count and inventory incoming and outgoing freight
- All other duties as assigned
Schedule: Provided Weekly. It will include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and other days of the week
Required Qualifications :
- Freight handling experience
- Forklift experience
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in a constant basis.
- Previous freight dock or warehouse experience (preferred)
